There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.  The one who fears is not made in perfect love . . . 1 John 4:18

This concept applies towards any relationship.  How can you expect happiness or fullfillment from a relationship if you refuse to let go of a mistake? An unfortunate event? How can you expect growth or change, if you choose to hold onto a grudge?

Dwelling to the past gets you no where.  The longer you dwell, the further you sink into a bottomless pit of regret and wishful thinking. What upsets me the most is how you rant and rave constantly about how badly you wish to be happy.  How you are in such a dire need of change.  You complain about how unfair and hard life is.  When all along, the only thing holding you back is yourself!

Yes, it's a tragedy what life has put you through.  It's unfair the way you've been treated, and it's just been such bad luck that you've come across so many dishonest, ill hearted people.  However, there comes a time when you need to let all of that go, learn from what's happened, and be greatful that these events in your life occurred when they did.  Letting go is the first step to self redemption.  You can't blame anyone else for your misery at this point.  You got tons of friends, so many great opportunities in life, and a person who's given you more than 100% of themselves to try to bring you happiness.

There's no excuse for you to be so unhappy.  You are blessed! Please, open up your eyes to what's in front of you.  Appreciate what's been given to you.  Life is too short to focus on such negative things.  Please embrace these good things in your life until they will no longer stick around for you.
